Each batch begins with 100% rye grain, milled, mashed, fermented, and distilled in-house at Dented Brick® Distillery in Salt Lake City, Utah. The whiskey is first aged for a minimum of two years in new American oak barrels, where char levels vary between 2, 3, and 4, developing its robust rye backbone and layers of spice and wood character. It is then finished for an additional 2 years in a former-fill Port casks from Indian Creek Winery, where it absorbs rich flavors of red fruit, dark berries, and subtle tannins from the fortified wine. Finally, the whiskey is proofed with artesian, limestone-filtered water sourced from pristine Rocky Mountain snowmelt .
